Acquiring skills for social and emotional well-being is important for inclusive societies and academic achievement. Digital games can be tailored to teach the benefits of cooperation, as well as the ability to recognise the emotions of others and express trustworthiness – prosocial skills – helping children to appreciate team-work, recognise the value of understanding other people’s needs and achieve academically.
DO IT: DOing Inclusion Together is a proposal that aims to transform and use the commonly used term IT
(information technologies) to support the inclusion of young people, starting from the assumption that
the modernization of processes does not turn into real innovation until it doesn’t really become inclusive.
