Telefonica said it obtained first place in Europe and America and second place worldwide in the Digital Inclusion Benchmark (DIB), which assesses how companies help to promote a more inclusive digital economy and society.
Today, the Commission adopted two initiatives that will strengthen the contribution of education and training to the EU’s recovery from the coronavirus crisis, and help build a green and digital Europe. Setting out a vision of the European Education Area to be achieved by 2025, the Commission proposes new initiatives, more investment and stronger cooperation of Member States to help all Europeans, of all ages, benefit from the EU’s rich education and training offer.
To prepare young people for the jobs of the future in spite of the digital divide, we must deploy no-tech as well as hi-tech educational methods. We must reduce our focus on high-stakes exams and replace them with fairer forms of assessment. Young people must be empowered with adaptable skills and financial resources.

5G security: Member States report on progress on implementing the EU toolbox and strengthening safety measures
Today, EU Member States, with the support of the European Commission and ENISA, the EU Agency for Cybersecurity, published a report on the progress made in implementing the joint EU toolbox of mitigating measures, which was agreed by the Member States and endorsed by a Commission Communication in January 2020.
